Need a Tooth Extraction?
Our dentists will do everything they can to save your teeth!
When does a tooth need to be extracted?
A tooth extraction is never the first answer, but it may be necessary to stop pain, save neighboring teeth, or to improve your overall dental health. The most common reasons for a tooth extraction include:
- Extreme tooth damage
- Extreme bone loss
- Infection
- Overcrowding (when your orthodontist recommends it)
At TLC Escondido Dental, it’s our goal to preserve your natural teeth. We’ll never recommend a tooth extraction unless it’s absolutely necessary. If we do need to perform a dental extraction, we offer high-tech options to replace the tooth and restore your full and beautiful smile back to normal.
Tooth removal — what to expect
- All our tooth extractions are performed by experienced professionals using the latest technology and equipment
- You’ll feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time thanks to local anesthetic
- We offer the highest attention to safety and a friendly environment
Think you might need to have a tooth pulled? Have questions about our process?

Replacing a missing tooth
Dental implants are the best way to replace missing teeth. Placed securely in the jaw and topped with a natural-looking crown, bridge, or denture, implants look and function just like a real tooth.
Our office is equipped with the latest technology designed to make your dental implant treatment a success. We use the X-Guide Navigation System, a cutting-edge piece of technology that allows for fully-guided implant placement. This system allows for great implant placement precision and delivers incredible results.
Extractions are never our first option
Dental Fillings
If decay is advancing or at risk of jeopardizing a tooth, we can act quickly to remove the decay and seal off the tooth. We offer modern white fillings to bring your tooth back to pristine condition.
Gum Disease Treatment
Gum disease and gum recession can cause pain, sensitivity, and loose teeth. Our personalized and high-tech periodontal care is designed to ease discomfort, prevent tooth loss, and keep your gums healthy.
Root Canal & Crowns
If decay has spread, a root canal may be necessary to save your tooth. If we diagnose root decay, we’ll refer you to a trusted local endodontist to perform the treatment. We offer same-day crowns as the last step of your root canal.

My husband Gary recently had a new crown made at TLC Dental using a state of the art machine called Cerec. The entire procedure was completed in just a few hours start to finish and the crown is absolutely beautiful! One visit that was it! I can’t tell you how grateful he was to miss only a few hours of work to have this procedure done in 1 visit! As my husband always tells me they are the best dentist we have ever had. So lucky to call them ours! Thank you TLC!
